Christopher Ciampoli

Christopher Ciampoli is a contemporary composer and active performer of classical music. He has appeared in solo, chamber/collaborative, and orchestral roles on both the violin and piano throughout the East Coast; premieres of his compositions are equally ubiquitous.
Chris has participated in masterclasses in composition with Christopher Rouse and Peter Sheppard-Skaerved and in violin performance with Jennifer Koh. Christopher's compositional creativity so far permeates both traditional and not-so-traditional acoustic ensembles, and he has also crossed disciplines in collaboration with sculpture, performance art, and photography.
Christopher earned a Master of Music from Peabody ('14) and a Bachelor of Music Education from The College of New Jersey ('11), where he held the chair of Concertmaster in the TCNJ College Orchestra for two years. Additional composition studies with Conrad Cummings at The Juilliard School Evening Division.
