Warnock Win
Last Friday, the Warnock Foundation named Symphony Number One to the fall class of Baltimore Social Innovation Fellows! We competed with 84 other entries narrowed down to 24 finalists who were then asked to give a five minute live pitch at Impact Hub Baltimore. we proposed to work with West Baltimore's Innovation Village development district to provide free and severely-reduced-price concerts in West Baltimore that mirror our current offerings in Midtown and Downtown. We've already begun planning the first of these performances.

Here is the letter:
Good morning,
I'm excited to let you know that you were selected as a Baltimore Social Innovation Fellow in the Fall 2016 class. You inspired us with your brilliance, creativity and passion. We're also excited to announce that we have increased the prize, beginning with this class, to a grant of $2,000 per fellow. In addition, we'll be supporting your work with networking sessions, workshops around topics that will help you grow, and a feature story in the upcoming Baltimore Social Innovation Journal to be released on December.
It was very difficult to select winners from among 24 amazing presenters. Thank you so much for inspiring us!
Warm regards,
Jamie McDonald
We encourage you to follow our progress as our outreach team begins the process of engaging all of Baltimore with new and inspiring programs of well-loved classics and fresh new sounds!
